Being a friend of the author and a fellow member of GGC Media, my review might be a little biased, but reading the other reviews here, I don't think this will be an issue.
Richard had been telling me about this project for quite a while, but frankly I didn't get my hopes up too much as our previous entries at Newgrounds haven't been rated very high (you're always welcome to check them out, of course ;) and I knew that he was still in the getting-to-know-his-way-around phase when it comes to Flash. But when I finally saw the result last night, I was blown away in amazement. He has certainly outdone himself this time. In fact, I'm even considering giving him my nacho rations for this month. And that's saying a lot.
Furthermore, I just found out that this entry has also been featured on the frontpage, which is something we at GGC didn't know to expect for at least another year or so. Or even never, according to some worst case scenarios.
Twelve and a half thumbs up!
Very nicely done, but lacking something.
Excellent animation there. You've got some good talent and it's clear a lot of effort has been put in it. However, as I said, it's lacking something. There was a bit too much repetition and the background was too bland. However, I can see this is your first animation, so I assume that more and better is yet to come. Keep it up!
Nice jorb, jhonka.
Firstly, I know the author of this movie very well, so my review is probably quite biased.
But on to the point: This is one of those things that people will either like a lot or hate its guts, which is also reflected in the other reviews here. And as you can see from the scores, I'm one of those who likes it.
The shortness doesn't matter to me, as it's the style that counts here. Feels like a weird Monty Python sketch. The length can also be explained by the fact that it's his first real attempt of Flash animation, sort of a test run (and therefore also deserves most of the low scores).
